Registering New Citizens to Vote

In late 2023, the League of Women Voters of Chicago took on a massive new project—registering new citizens to vote at naturalization ceremonies. Our team of dedicated volunteers has been hard at work all year long, and this summer, we had a few extra-special naturalization ceremonies to attend. Our crew registered over 300 new citizens to vote at Wintrust Arena on June 18 and over 400 new citizens at Wrigley Field on August 8!
