National Voter Registration Day

Thank you to all the volunteers who celebrated National Voter Registration Day with us at voter registration drives around the city on September 17!

We visited Chicago State University, Harold Washington College, Malcolm X College, Olive-Harvey College, Richard J. Daley College, and the Southside YMCA—PLUS our team registered over 100 new citizens to vote at a special ceremony outside Dirksen Courthouse.

Also on NVRD, LWV Chicago President Jane Ruby spoke at Malcolm X College’s Hispanic Heritage Month panel with Alders Raymond Lopez, Peter Chico, and Ruth Cruz. Thank you to those alders for their commitment to community development and youth civic engagement!
